Job description
We are seeking a Lead ServiceNow Developer to drive complex implementations, manage integrations, and lead a team of ServiceNow developers. You will be responsible for designing solutions, customizing modules, scripting, and ensuring platform health. Typical responsibilities include:
- Design and implement ServiceNow solutions, including Catalogs, Workflows, UI Policies, Business Rules, etc.
- Lead integration between ServiceNow and 3rd-party systems via REST/SOAP APIs.
- Mentor junior/mid-level engineers and ensure code quality and best practices.
- Participate in architecture reviews and drive platform scalability, performance, and maintainability.
- Handle upgrades, patching, release planning for ServiceNow instances.
Required skills & experience
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with ServiceNow platform development.
- Strong scripting knowledge (JavaScript), Experience with ServiceNow modules like ITSM, ITOM, etc.
- Experience with integrations (REST, SOAP), custom applications on ServiceNow.
- Good understanding of security, data policies, governance, and platform lifecycle.
- Experience leading teams or mentoring developers.
- Excellent problem‐solving skills, communication, and ability to work across time zones.
